At this very moment, the Brazilian Embraer gathers employees, authorities and business partners at its headquarters in São José dos Campos, Brazil, for a big party: the company’s 50th anniversary.
The event, which can be followed live on this link and also watched later, is a special occasion to remember the five decades of challenges, achievements and technological innovations in Aviation.
Francisco Gomes, President and CEO at Embraer, says: “Embraer is the result of the determination of visionaries who wanted to make the impossible a reality – and they succeeded. This is what we want to count on in a historical moment of the company. It was with this impetus that we grow, we reach 50, and so we will continue for the next decades”.
“Movida a desafios, guiada por sonhos” (Challenging, guided by dreams). This is the advertising campaign that tells the story of the company, broadcasted in print, electronic and digital media, including Embraer’s social media. In addition to the history that marks the aviation industry, since its foundation on August 19, 1969, 18,000 employees from around the world are now part of the bold and competent team.
During Labace 2019 – Latin American Business Aviation Conference & Exhibition, the largest fair in Latin America that took place at Congonhas Airport in São Paulo, from August 13 to 15, Embraer organized a ceremony for its newest Praetor 500 executive jet, now certified by ANAC.
