Emirates explores future of aviation

With eyes wide open on the Expo 2020 DubaiEmirates is building a pavilion focused on mobility and interactive technologies to offer visitors a rich experience during the six-month event.

As the Expo’s Premier Partner and official airline, taking place from October 2020 to April 2021, the pavilion will show how air travel will continue to shape people’s futures.

Emirates promises innovative experiences by promoting creativity and innovation, highlighting the best that is yet to come in the aviation industry.

The pavilion was designed to reflect the dynamic lines of aircraft wings ready to fly. The 26 inclined architectural fins, covering the full area, will house more than 800 meters of LED lights responsible for multisensory effects and movement, with light shows during event nights.

Driven by the sustainability theme, the airline will invest in sustainable design – integrated solar panels, sustainable outdoor construction, responsive sun protection and landscaping.

The Emirates Pavilion will have three floors and 3,300 square meters of interactivity, advances, connectivity and differentiated proposals that will surprise all visitors. The second floor will house an auditorium for lectures and other important events; on the third floor, everyone will live an exclusive experience at the Skygarden, an outdoor area with green nature.

In addition, visitors will have the opportunity to imagine, create and configure the ideal aircraft of the future, combining technologies and preferences. The Expo 2020 Dubai is estimated to attract 25 million people from 190 countries.
