In Italy, Masseria Torre Maizza opens in Puglia

As the first Rocco Forte hotel in Puglia, Italy, the Anglo-Italian family-owned hotel group opens the doors of Masseria Torre Maizza.

The new boutique resort, after 6 million euro renovation, displays unique style and modern design, offering customized services, warmth and hospitality typical of one of the most exciting Italian destinations.

Masseria Torre Maizza is located on the Italian Adriatic coast, in the Savelleteri di Fasano region (the “heel of the boot” on the country’s map). This resort is an authentic masseria – a typical 16th century farmhouse.

With its natural beauty renewed by the collaboration of the Design Director at Rocco Forte Hotels, Olga Polizzi, and local artisans, the property now has 40 luxurious suites and breathtaking views of the Puglia countryside. With two bedrooms, Torre Suite is new, located on the top floor of the original masseria tower.

In terms of gastronomy, this resort receives a special Menu with dishes and ingredients of the region, making Carosello restaurant one of the main attractions in the address.

In addition to the twenty-meter swimming pool, executive golf course with nine holes, fitness center, Rocco Forte Spa and access to a private beach club, guests have the Concierge at disposal for other activities, discovering the wonders of Puglia, one of the greatest treasures in Italy.

“Masseria Torre Maizza is a little gem and I am particularly proud of. The resort boasts all the charm, character and flavors of southern Italy, offering guests a unique perspective on local treasures”, adds Sir Rocco Forte, CEO and President at Rocco Forte Hotels.
