Mixing the Brazilian tradition with the Mexican touch, Franck’s Ultra Coffee launches an exclusive coffee with tequila.
The process of grains infused in tequila barrel is the invention of Marcelo Franck, founder of this special coffee brand in Curitiba, Paraná. For bringing the best of the Brazil-Mexico blend, the result is a unique and very tasty coffee.
The idea came after a special request from a brewery that needed a coffee inspired by Mexico: “Augustinus Brewery from São Paulo needed a different coffee in order to produce a Mexican Stout beer. We then prepared a small toasted oak dorna and left an infusion of tequila with pepper preparing for four months to completely absorb it. After four months, the green coffee was added for six weeks in the barrel and thereafter roasted”, explains Marcelo.
Coffee lovers can enjoy this exclusive novelty at the Espresso Station, Franck’s Ultra Coffee concept store in Curitiba, which offers a variety of manual extraction methods to highlight the coffee’s characteristics.
For those outside the city, new coffee and other products are available at the brand’s e-commerce on this link. The 250g package is R$ 45.00. Visit the website to discover the points of sale in the country.
