The Chilean winery has been in the publication’s top positions since 2011. It evaluates brands and producers from all the world.
“The World’s Most Admired Wine Brands 2018” is an annual ranking, and among the judges are consultants, winemakers, specialized writers, buyers, professors and wine researchers.
Vows must follow certain criteria – present constant and increasing quality; reflect the country or region of origin, respond to public expectations and tastes; distribution and packaging success; attractive to the public.
Alfonso Larraín, Charmain at Concha y Toro, says: “we value this recognition a lot. It is a reflection of the image and positioning of our brand in the world and the opinion of prestigious industry leaders. The diversity in the selection of jury members who expressed a preference for our brand is also one of the things that make us deeply grateful. Our work focused on excellence reflects on the quality of our wines and their solid positioning to be selected, once again, in this important position”.
Drinks International study positions the world’s 50 most admired wine brands. Cheers!
